Just not here real often.
Married ten years  now and our daughter is 7yo.
My adult son is 25yo , has a good job ,and doing very well also.
We both lost our fathers over the course of this last decade,but that's circle of life.Both our mothers are doing well.
  Overall we have a great relationship and have had a lot of fun and adventures, as well as the routine family life which we both enjoy

It's good to see some familiar faces* here doing well also!

To be honest, its simple choose well, get a little lucky and one thing I made double sure to
tell the truth, do not sugar coat anything. Before she came.

I gave her choices to help her continue her past career, go to school learn something new
Giving the options of work to her, not something she had to do. I also gave her the option to not work,
I realize not everyone can do that.

I got her English lesson before she came and once she arrived. I arranged for driving lessons
and a Car as fast the system would allow. I made time and help her learn where to get her personal
Items, which are not all exactly the same as home.

I explained our  bills, money the life we can afford, being as realistic as possible and explained we save
for bigger ticket Items. I am fortunate that I made ok money when we met and have done much better
the last 5/6 years, so never had the true belt tightening that some go through.

#1 communicate, communicate, communicate, talk and be sure you both understand
Most issues we had, came from not always understand the language.
We have never had a major fight, most if any were small disagreements.

I do believe I got lucky, as the expression goes I struck gold.
