Memorial Day
« on: May 27, 2012, 01:54:16 AM »
In the Netherlands on the 4th there is Dodenherdenking, which means remembering the dead who died in war. And on the 5th the Dutch celebrate there freedom on Liberation Day.

In Russian and Ukraine on May 9th is celebrated with Victory Day which remembers the victory over Nazi German some 60 years ago.

This weekend in The United States the armed forces who sacrificed are remembered and honoured.

Thank You!

NB: Thanks to Halo who noted my mistake of the dates!

Let us never forget those warriors who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice for their countries.
