Yep, that is totally true.   They want a take charge man and then they want to take charge of him 8)

That is at least partially true.

What I have done is to assign Angel Eyes as
1. House manager,
2. Garden manager,
3. Shopping manager,
4. Mini Me manager
5. Social Calendar manager. 

She will ask (yes she asks) Beel, I want to buy XYZ for the garden. (99.75%
of the time it's yes) I ask who is the garden manager? You need to buy a
high quality XYZ, so that we don't need to buy it again soon. (She will always
buy the cheapest one if I don't get involved). If it's a tool, even a hoe or a
shovel, I get involved otherwise we will have a plastic/paper hoe that dissolves
in water when it gets wet.
