The travel agent many Canadian's end up using.
« on: June 30, 2009, 08:26:04 AM »
When I was first trying to plan my first trip to Russia I ran into the same thing that many find...it's confusing!!!  I was reading online, finding prices extraordinarily expensive, and was confused about the whole visa and invite process.  Not to mention that I like to book travel online and I found many of the sites I found seemed very sketchy to me anyway.

I got smart and looked for a local Toronto company to help me intead and found Comfort Travel in Toronto.  They specifically mention Russian travel on their site and easily helped me with an invite, the travel arrangements, Russian hotels that were reasonably priced and functional, and even assisted me to understand the Russian visa paperwork the first time around.  I originally dealt with Svetlana there but she moved on and now Anna there is very helpful.

In talking to several other Canadian's who have been to Russia it turns out a few of them have ironically also found Comfort Travel along the way too.  They are worth a look for any Canadian's heading to Russia in my opinion.

Look, we're gonna spend half the night driving around the Hills looking for this one party and you're going to say it sucks and we're all gonna leave and then we're gonna go look for this other party. But all the parties and all the bars, they all suck. <-Same goes for forums!
