Where some hate because they just like to hate, and some will justify a whole group is evil, for the actions of only some. There are others types that do fall under the word friction.

Hatred can be too strong a word, and has nothing to do with just disliking someone. And even countries can promote a dislike for another country by their actions alone. If I listed ten nationalities and rated them from the best to worst, do I hate the worst, or just perfer the others before them for reasons I have. Would not even mean that I include everyone in that worst nationality, but would look like I do from that list.   

By your definition the cold war was hatred, by mine friction, hatred does not end, but friction can be resolved over time.

To state that Ukraine and Russia differ so drastically while it was one and the same country less than 20 years ago does not sound convincing, especially to me knowing that since the independence we have not really gone too much apart in many respects. We still share a language and culture to tell the truth, the main difference is some rail against Timoshenko while others revile at Putin. But to argue with someone like this is indeed a waste of time. Yes, Ukraine may be more attractive for sex tourists because it is less xenophobic, does not require a visa and easier to travel to, but to claim that Ukrainian girls are all hookers while Russian ones are nuns only makes one chuckle.

That is why I call it hatred. It cannot be resolved. If someone firmly believes Ukrainian girls are all whores and Russian ones are all saints it can only end when the person dies. But I do not think it is a way to resolve it

there are no frictions. There are people who like to hate. Some hate blacks. Some hate men, others hate women. There are haters of Jews, Americans, Mexicans, Ukrainians, Russians, etc. If you have hatred inside you will find someone to hate.
