is it possible for a average American guy to get permission from Russian gov. to live and work in Russia for about a year.
what are the requirements if any?

I guess it would depend on the job, but generally you don't need any permission from Putin and the boys.

If you're transferred through your company they will handle all the paperwork. If not, you just work. Just make sure you're not stepping on any of the locals toes. Good luck
