Some questions before I commit to this whole idea

Did you also notice how women in their 40s looked? No? I can tell you. Maybe it's a generalisation, but women from EE don't age that well. Go to Italy or France and mature women will blow you away. Not so in Russia or the Ukraine.

Women from EE are a lot more traditional. Getting married and becoming a mother is much more important to them than to a woman from the West, who often wants to start a career first. Even if a woman from EE wants that too it is very difficult for her, since chances for a career are slim, especially outside of the big cities. In Russia it looks a bit better than in the Ukraine though, especially SPB and Moscow.
So, marrying is high on the agenda already at a young age for women there (especially on the more traditional countryside you are still considered to be an old maid if you aren't married when you are 26), and chances for a good life are rather low. And I have to say that some (or many?) are also quite materialistic, especially from the big cities. I was quite shocked how many of them are the cliche of a nouveau riche, or try to appear as one/become one. That's why a single from the West can be very attractive to many of them.

Many look tired but not all.
On the other side and perhaps this is part of the reason that there are large age differences. Women aged 35 and older have a mind set that is largely Soviet. My guess I think allot guys are turned off by this.

I am 28 I dont pay very much attention to older women although when I do see some attractive ones I still appreciate what they would of been and that any guy they have would be lucky, as for me I dont care what my future wife will look like after, I am a one women man once I have strong feelings for a girl they last, I just need a girl with a sharp enough hook in the 1st place.
If you mean some can tend to look gaunt then I would put it down to perhaps lower bodyfat at an older age. Skin could be blistering cold winter wind(in Australia our skin gets damaged by the sun instead), maybe even less nourishment (essential fats in fish is good for the skin and hair and I found no fresh seafood in Ukraine so I will assume there may be a much stronger tendency for an omega 3 deficiency as there is everywhere else but a small amount of countries such as Japan), also unsure how easily available cosmetic surgery is for EE not just financially.

These sort of women turn me off and of course, I dont think are good for me. I am not after a girl much better looking than me, I find EE women much more attractive mainly based on demeanour although I admit I love the accent and their physical traits are to my preference (fair skin and light eyes and/or black hair).
For example twice in the 5 days a 6/10 got herself up to 7.5/10(my lower limit in initial physical attraction for considering marriage) just by initial demeanour alone and in both cases it was a flirting style I would never witness in a WW.

Not me, that trip was just all for fun nothing serious but it was the 1st european girl I had encountered so I just went with it regardless.
In western culture she would be considered a s&^% for her actions but I have no idea how to take it in such a different culture, maybe she was innocently chatting to me?? I dont know. (FTR we did not exchange numbers solely due to me being in a rush as to not lose my cousins).

It seems you were not sushied so bonus points to you. Fresh seafood such as tuna, swordfish and salmon is readily available in Ukraine.
There are beautiful women down under and this is both based on appearance and character but I suspect the Sigrid's and Nicole's are quickly exported.
The comment about St. Petersbug and Moscow is a reference to the fact that the life style and quality of life is quite high is the above mentioned cities that are in Russia. Any city with more than a million inhabitants is going to have dark places. But the dark places of Moscow are really dark, I understand. You do NOT want to go there. But these cities do not have as many beaches or sunshine. The flip side is they do not worry about sharks.
Mobile telecommunication is in fact the #1 way to stay in contact. Get a foon ASAP. E.Mail is a distant second. Paper and pencil third. Using smoke signals I am not sure about.
