A polite PM often works wonders chaps.

It's very noticeable how many men come on here for advise about an impending trip, never to be heard of again concerning the results of the said trip.

Just what I was thinking before I read your post.

Pm might do it.The problem I see is that it may be considered hostile, intrusive etc.OP may have formed opinion about who is asking( right ,wrong, misguided, unfair, whatever) and take it the wrong way.As someone pointed out the OP had been on forum and not posted. It may be that he has stayed logged in  from months ago and has not actually looked at forum. Is that possible?

Wow - what contradictions in the conversations here!

Some of you did exactly what I suggested - you wanted more information, so you put his screen name into a search engine and wow did that ever change how you viewed the man (and the girl, too, since she could obtain the same info. about his wealth and intentions).

I realize many think I take things too far...but that was taken out of proportion.  In fact, this poster provided not only his full name and city/state but also his occupation which makes it easy to find his home and business addresses/phones with just a few clicks - anyone with internet access can do it.  Would you not want to be more discreet, or at least try to do damage control if you did not like what was already accessible about you?

Another member even politely suggested that he could help get more information to better inform the OP about his girl.  So, I remain shocked at the outrage to my posts.  Oh well.  Live and learn, or neither confirm nor deny.  (Unless you are Andrewfii  - then you can lie and deny all you want.)

What's all that about. Does diddums feel unhappy because I think that wasting people's time on an endeavour that diddums has no intentions of following through on is unfair to all those whose time he wastes?

What might I possibly want to lie about or deny. Unlike you I tend toward openness and directness, some might regard these as being related to honesty. Why would I need to be dishonest in dealing with a person who was, with each post he makes, confirming the accuracy of my assessment of him?

Andrew, you are only embarrassing yourself, which by the way is NOT good for business.

For someone with 50 ways to communicate you are doing a terrible job of "ruADVERTISING".
