They look like very modest increases really.

A big rise could have been a good earner for the government in these hard times.

Simo

Following is info from UKBA website:

As well as partners and children under 18, the following relatives can apply to join a settled person in the UK:

widowed mothers and widowed fathers aged 65 or over; and
parents or grandparents who are travelling together, if one of them is aged 65 or over.
You must provide evidence that:

you depend wholly or mainly on your settled relative for money;
you (and any dependants you have) can and will be maintained and housed adequately, without needing public funds, in accommodation which your settled relative owns or occupies exclusively; and
you have no other close relatives in your own country who can support you financially.
If there are exceptional compassionate circumstances, the following relatives who meet the above requirements may be allowed to join as settled person here:

sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, uncles and aunts over the age of 18

In which case you're looking at £1850m as of 6th April.

Thanks DS. Had a good ole long look last night at Visa's etc, and think the child settlement one is the way to go. She is 16 so best to get this done sooner rather than later.
The Fee's are expensive, but as i have no mortgage (Private Rent) and dont drive it does make things cheaper to do, but more difficult to get there

Hope your Wifes Visa comes through soon!!!! Fingers Crossed Buddy.

At 16 shouldn't be a problem. As a matter of interest why didn't you apply for her at time her mother applied?

You know i kick my self everytime someone asks me that!

I just wasn't too sure that we would get a Visa for both, and thought the chances were better for just 1 at a time.
Also My daugter is at college and is halfway through, so didn't want to uproot her, if the Visa Failed.......But now we are going for it and , when it comes time i will do both Visas for ILR!!
I'm now wearing the Daddy pants in my Marriage! lol and Wife see's my logic (not always but most times)

If there's a drift between you missus' ILR time and the daughters I fear you might have to pay the full fee for her rather than being able to include her on the missus' one.

My wifes visa was issued in Feb, hopefully my Daughters will be in may....I'm hoping I might be able to get the ILR both together......
is this something that happened to you then Ste? I have a Solicitor that specialises in Ukrainian Immigration i will ask her monday.....
Thanks for mentioning this Ste, something i didnt really think would be a problem, but now i see it could potentially be an issue!

Also bare in mind that if you do get daughters in May there is around a 3 month plus gap between the two, may not be able to apply for both on/for the same ILR at the same time depending on dates the second (daughters) visa is awarded?
