Talk > Ask a Married Guy

How were you treated by your friends?

(1/6) > >>

Silver king:
How were you treated by your friends, family, and colleagues, after marring a foreign woman? How was your wife treated? Also what do their families think about it? Do you think it makes a difference how others see the relationship if there is a age difference?

mendeleyev:
Use the search button and you'll find many discussions on these topics.

In the meantime, I'd use this for anyone who asks rudely:

Just tell the person that you're having a pussy shipped over in a box. Pause for a moment to watch their facial expression and then pull out a copy of this photo.

It is a real Russian cat, btw. You'll never hear that question again from the same person.

I was feathered and tarred, then tied to the stake and BBQed.  :smokin:

Seriously, does it really matter to you? Are you marrying a RW or your family, co-workers and neighbors?

They will treat you the same way they have always treated you.

There's a good chance that some of the guys will be jealous of you for finding a beautiful woman. There is also a good chance that their wives will think it is the most romantic thing they've ever heard.

Or they could be as rude as they can.

You know them better than I do.  :8)

Larry:
I'm not married yet, but from reactions I've received from people who have found out about my search the responses largely broke down by sex:

1. men were most often interested, especially when they saw photos of the gorgeous FSUW
2. women were most often much less congenial to the idea.  I view their hostility to the idea of american men seeking FSUW as akin to the reaction of striking union workers to nonunion replacement workers being hired.  It's sort of a knee-jerk reaction but it probably makes sense from their standpoint.

I've been on this board long enough to know that I should insert lots of caveats and notes.  So here goes: none of the foregoing is meant to suggest there can be no good argument against these sorts of relationships, based on logic and facts.  But I can say that very, very few americans make these sorts of arguments.  Instead, it's always a reaction based on some ideas they have heard but have no way to evaluate (all FSUW who marry AM come here for the green card, etc).

Wow, Larry. That's a real shame.

Honestly, every woman that I know told me it was the most romantic thing they ever heard, and I know they meant it.

Sorry to hear about your experience. It's so sad.  :snivel:
