While reading here today I see David28 has joined here too and as you know we visit with him and his family as they live close by.  Meanwhile Lora is on the telephone to her brother's classmate who now lives in Alberta.

So you see this lifestyle has led to us discovering and enjoying a whole new set of friends who have shared similar experiences to those you see we talk about here on RUA & a long forgotten forum for example.

First, now there is an option of answering from the site & hiding the actual e-mail address.

Second, there's the whole bunch of nicest smilies! 

Third, there's an option of "bringing up" the profile once in 10 days (before it was possible only after "updating" the profile).

I recommended the agency to someone and here is what they told me:

Hello Igor, I was on  free personals.ru,they just linked me to a bunch of different websites, I will try a couple more later but all the ones I found you had to pay for…
When I enter that website,and click on Ukrainian or Russian women  it takes me to another website of someone else's…
If I member write Igor,it was opening an e-mail from someone that you had to pay for not sending one…
When I tried logging on the freepersonals.ru  it kept putting me onto interkonakt.com…

What the hell? I even registered there myself to find out but did not see anything of the above.

An Update:
Well I started out in this adventure about 8 years ago and tried both small and larger agencies with visits to Russia.  Then 7 years ago this coming Fall I wrote some ladies from Fee Personals and travelled to Ukraine where I met my wife Lora.

So it is great to hear that this site is still going strong and that others have also found their soulmates there as we did all those years ago.  Time seems to really fly somethimes.

Good luck to all those who choose this route.  It really does work as we can attest.

Do not join freepersonals.ru.  Yes, apart from the 90% standard scammers background noise, there are also freebie contacts, but only ugly freebie.

In my opinion it is the best free dating site, scams are controlled and many profiles are legit. Quite unpractical to use but for a free site, the result is very good.

Many free sites like datemefree or wedatefree are scam infested but not freepersonals.ru
