Lord of the Flies! Lord of the Flies!!!   :chuckle:

On to something that may not already be known,  I got this email that claims to be a speech by Aussie PM Juliya Gillard, however nice and ballsey it would be if true, I rather have my doubts.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT... Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

My PM, Heir Harper would never do this as their policy is to let in anyone, especially from 3rd world countries to slave away at menial jobs to ensure our economy ticks along, in this little bubble factory.

Sorry Donny apparently this email, in several different versions including an American version, has been floating around the Internet for a while.

Edit: Donny, PM Harper gave a speech in Sept. 2011 that highlighted the threat of Islam to Canada.  The speech wasn't too popular with the PC crowd.

Spotted: Stephen Harper on Islamic radicals
September 7, 2011 7:00 PM |

In an exclusive interview with CBC News, Prime Minister Stephen Harper says the biggest security threat to Canada a decade after 9/11 is Islamic terrorism.

In a wide-ranging interview with CBC chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge that will air in its entirety on The National Thursday, Sept. 8, Harper says Canada is safer than it was on Sept. 11, 2001, when al-Qaeda attacked the U.S., but that "the major threat is still Islamicism."

News of Harper's remarks prompted an immediate, overwhelming response from CBC audience members. At the time of this writing, over 2,400 comments - many of them irate - have been posted to the CBC News story.

Some commenters felt the statements were propaganda, pure and simple.

"Are you scared yet? I hope we are not as naive as our American cousins to actually fall for this," wrote Simon Shaw.

"Oh the irony, I just happened to be reading a few pages in Manufacturing Consent, a book about propaganda before reading this story," added Jay from Ottawa.

Prime Minister Harper's "Islamicism" remark sparked much debate, both pro and con.

"Radical Islam continues to be our biggest threat. Even they say so themselves - their plan is to make a one-world Caliphate and force everyone on Earth to convert to Islam or die. Not very neighbor-friendly, if you ask me! Harper is quite right," said Facebook member Joan Massey.

But Hammerthumb disagreed, remarking:

"Talk about ignorant fear mongering. The largest terrorism act on American soil was 9/11, but he seemed to leave out the second largest act, which was Oklahoma City bombings. This attack is now marginalized by Harper in favour of propaganda. I know some Muslims. Great people, very religious, very devout, clean living, God fearing people who are anything but radicals.... Radical religious extremism is a threat, but don't limit it to Muslims."

Hammerthumb's words set the tone for much of the discussion that followed.

"The threat is extremists of any religion. Not just Islam," wrote Canada1951.

"All religions are dangerous in the wrong hands. As a Christian Fundamentalist, Breivik was no different than a Muslim Fundamentalist. If I recall correctly, a Hindu fundamentalist killed Gandhi," noted Dacckon.

"I think the prime minister should have focused more on the radical extremist element than the Islamic argument," said DorySmith. She concluded: "Hot button politics of division is creating a greater sense of us against them. It is lowering tolerance and promoting division. Highlighting Islam alone only deepens these divisions."

Like DorySmith, many commenters expressed concerns about the prospect of living in a country governed by fear and division.

"It is the fear-mongering that is a far greater danger in this country, and throughout the world, that is making us all into hating, apprehensive, frightened people," observed Phipenheimer.

"I believe the greater threat is a government, which purposely heightens the fear of a specific rare situation in order to garner more support," wrote Burgers. "I live in Edmonton. We have had a record number of homicides this year. I apologize if I am not too concerned about Muslim fanaticism when people who hate and are too free to use violence are out there in all colors and races."

"The greatest threat, I think, is promoting this kind of fear and division among Canadians. Promoting this irrational hatred of people who are different will cause nothing but anger and more terrorism, like was seen in Norway," remarked Facebook member Joanne L.

Others, including Prvcyrls, noted the timing of Harper's remarks: "I don't think that it's a coincidence that Harper would make such a comment *after* getting a majority government."

Some viewers even reserved some of their anger for Peter Mansbridge.

"When does Mansbridge get his Senate appointment? Given this kid glove treatment of Harper, I figure he will be pulling a Duffy soon," wrote Gallium.

Amidst all of the outrage, ccaulfeild took time to offer everyone some sage advice:

"Ignorance is the biggest threat. Knowledge is power folks."
