Was at the Leinster Football final today, spotted this, the GAA badges from affiliated teams from some of our member locations, not everyone represented obvs..
There's Lancashire (though Ellan Vannin is The Isle of Man actually), Tallinn, Amshterdam and the USA

There wasn't one for Montenegro - I did look!
Was a grand day out, like Wallace and Gromit. Dublin beat Kildare 2-23 1-17 to win the Leinster final in front of about 70,000 fans, my first senior Gaelic football match. It's like a combination of soccer, rugby and basketball, played on the biggest pitch ever, this pic is only one half plus a bit...
The pitch is also the scene of 'Bloody Sunday' in 1920 where the Black and Tans drove an armoured gun tank thing onto the pitch and killed 12 people, including one of the players, the Hogan stand opposite in the pic is named after him. Scene is recreated in the Roger Corman film 'Michael Collins' with Liam Neeson and the late Alan Rickman. and somewhat incongruously, Julia Roberts......
