I read yesterday that Turkey has sent forces into Iraq, and in other news that Russia was shipping tanks to the region.
Now its on Sputnik (http://sputniknews.com/military/20151206/1031328700/iraq-turkey-military-intervention-forces-violation.html?utm_source=https%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2FUydJEro3Ek&utm_medium=short_url&utm_content=amQr&utm_campaign=URL_shortening).

"We may soon ask Russia for direct military intervention in Iraq in response to the Turkish invasion and the violation of Iraqi sovereignty," Iraqi lawmaker al-Zamili said.
Looks like Turkey is looking for confrontation to protect the Erdogan Clan's oil smuggling from ISIS family business. The question is, with Uncle Sam's permission or acting alone?

The United states has its own issues with Iraq at the moment.
It's possible the United states asked Turkey to invade Iraq to ease the tension from the influx of U.S.military?
Just a guess.

Bear in mind that the Turkish mob seem to be engaged in ongoing activity there this may be just what the Turks say it is. However, that does not lessen the truth that it is a military invasion of the sovreign territory of the state of Iraq.
