This weekend was our thirteenth anniversary. We celebrated with our friends and children. Our relationship grows stronger year by year as the girls grow up and we grow older.
There are several other couples who will be celebrating 13 years in the coming months. Many have stopped posting on the boards but we wish them all the same happiness that we enjoy tiphat

Aye, ours is coming up too.
Congrats to Les and his family. :8)

Congratulations to you Leslie and your family and, also, to all who find happiness and satisfaction in their own ways with their own partners.
Sometimes a relationship does not last a lifetime but a month of shared happiness beats the crap out of a life of loneliness.

Thanks for all the kind comments
I think the key to our success is we both work hard to make our relationship work. We don't take each other for granted and put our partners needs before our own.
Congratulations to all who have up coming anniversaries - including Ste !

I think we missed ours (our first meet anniversary one), too much going on with me working in Copenhagen now and she living the dream flying all over Germany and Switzerland with work (and totally sick of it now lol!)...
It was a dream for her, visa-free travel and job to suit but now she's totally pissed off with it!!! She's become total Yorkshire (irksome, since I'm a Lancastrian)....

Do you even understand each other when you both speak 'English'?

Sorry to not have replied already, but currently the World Tour and Exclusive Toronto Exhibition of the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry is on display in my church beginning this past Monday and continuing on to October 1, 2016. A totally great exposition and a must see if you have the chance. Great parts recording the Scots in Russia etc., such as Patrick Gordon etc.
Back on topic Leslie and family all the best on reaching 13 years of marriage.
As to others I trust Richard and Valya celebrated on Tuesday September 20, 2016 while Lora and I have our own coming up on Sunday, September 25, 2016. So best to one and all celebrating their lives together as we all mark new milestones in lives together.

Well done to you both, as said else where a true understanding of each others needs is the key to success tiphat
