Church at Ivan the Terrible castle about 2 hours outside Moscow.  Built in 1600s.

St Sergius at Lavra monastary.

Wait a minute.  Whoa.  Halt.  Stop.  Stop?!  In Russia?  This is how a stop sign looks but shouldn't the letters be in Cyrillic?  We pulled up for a visit at St Sergius and parked on a dirt road near a little market/cafe.  The girls started laughing and walked over to the sign.  I was busy locking the car and getting our backpack.  There it was in Russia.  A stop sign in English.  (Since that sighting we've seen several in Moscow and kaluga also.)
