I'm still unsure weather to put Russian or American? My citizenship is US, have to get a visa to go to Russia, but i was born and raised in Russia, Manny, help!!!

I think Citizenship is a little paper book. Dude - you are a Russian.

My wife says, "You can take a Russian out of Russia, but you cant take Russia out of a Russian"  :chuckle:

Aren't we suppose to have 2 Ukrainians at least? Aren't they proud to be Ukrainians? I voted as Russian even though i have Au citizenship for years   :P

Of course the Russians are right up there with the Americans on this poll.  Manny promised before it all started that there would be a 65% turnout!   ;D

If the Ruskies and Yanks win the poll we'll have to rename the forum to somthing like, Russian & Ugly American Adventures!   8)

Hey, can I vote twice since my heritage is Dutch?  I don't want Mark to feel lonely!

In that case I can vote double too since my heritage is Spanish

But hey, why is TEXAS not listed as a country?  LOL

There you go. If some else didnt put that up, i would have.

I'm not your typical Texan, living in Houston; i'm definitely a big city over horses and pickup trucks person; but Texas, like NYC, Boston, Chicago and California is very unique.

Not to mentiion that Texas was a country before joining the USA. And Lee, you know there are plenty of pickups with horse trailers in Houston. At least there was when I lived there 89-96 last time.  :)

And before that, Texas was a Mexican state the full name was "Coahuila y Texas" ( Coahuila and Texas) we kept the Coahuila part and now it is single Mexican state which borders Nuevo Leon. Something similar happened with the names of the Californias (Alta and Baja) the full name of California when it was a Mexican state was "Alta California" (Upper California) and her twin state was "Baja California" (Lower California) we kept the Baja California and the name didn't change unlike current California. The name Coahuila and Texas ended as a historical name with no further use; however some Mexicans still use sometimes the name "Alta California" to refer to current California. When speaking English sometimes we can pronounce the X sound in Spanish of those places by mistake; Texas - Te-has, Bexar - Be-har, Mexico - Me-hi-co and so on, which is normal in certain degree I think, I remember Miss Manny always pronounced "Mek-si-ka" instead of Mexico in the 3way calls when speaking English.

Similar to the previous examples were the names; Monterrey in Nuevo León and Monterey in Alta California (today's California) both were state capitals at the time (Monterrey in Nuevo León is still a state capital, and Mexico's second most industrialized city) the differences besides one "r" in the writting it is the pronunciation. In Spanish we say : MonteRRey for Nuevo León and MonteRey for California. Why the gringos changed the state capital from Monterey (Alta California as a Mexican state) to Sacramento  (California as an American state) when the state passed from Mexican jurisdiction to American jurisdiction??  I never knew ........  The  current capital of New Mexico's; Santa Fe remained as the same, The capital of Texas part was San Antonio, I do not know which one is the current capital of Texas but I'm almost certain it is not San Antonio.

Where do all the Germans, French, and Italian men hangout.  50% or more of the men I have met personally looking for women in Ukraine are from these countries.  Language is probably an issue on this board.

I think there has to be more than 6 there are two alone on the tech crew

Maybe there is simply not too many cats in Mainland Europe who participate in
demographic polls.
