How does that work then in a country of the brave and FREE ? So the US is no longer a democracy and you're told where and when you can travel?  ???

The USA isn't a democracy, we are a constitutional republic.

Little has been said about any travel bans. I think that possibly
somebody in Belarus is might be banned from traveling to the
US. There isn't anything official yet, it's all speculation at this
point.

It's not speculation.  There was an article in the Wall Street Journal this past week.

Canada has a level 2 travel advisory
Belarus has a level 1.

What is worse than not being able to get what you don't even want?

Belarus has a level one which means it is safe to travel.  It is the golden combination of good people and also the excellent job president Lukashenko has done in keeping the country safe and clean.  Belarus is somewhat of a paradise.  Safe, clean, great transportation, infrastructure, beautiful women.

But the recent news I mention has nothing to do with the country being safe for tourists.  It is regarding a new policy here in America where it will become much more difficult for Belarusians to obtain American visas.  And due to the principle of reciprocity, will also make it more difficult for Americans to travel there.

The last time I was in Belarus I met a woman from Vitebsk.  She came to Minsk to meet me but we also spent some time in her city.  I came back to Minsk from Vitebsk by train alone.  I arrived around 2200 and had my carry on and laptop bag with me.  I went walking from the train station to my favorite restaurant Grunwald and was at Grunwald until about midnight at which time I walked to my rental apartment in downtown Minsk.  There are very few capital cities in the world where a foreigner can roam the streets at midnight without having to worry about getting mugged.  Add to this I was with a piece of luggage, a camera and a laptop.  Also there's no graffiti no litter.

Apparently he has failed in keeping foreign trash from walking the streets. He doesn't want guys like us taking Belarussian women. Some of the guys here will remember what he did.

President Alexander Lukashenko attempted to regulate "marriage agencies" in Belarus and make it difficult for them to operate. He believed that Western men were draining his country of women of child-bearing age. However, as most agencies are being run from outside Belarus (either in Russia, other European countries or the United States), he has been unable to stop (or otherwise regulate) this activity.
Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776. If you want to stop the war in Ukraine, fix elections, stop medical tyranny and forced vaccinations, lower inflation and make America and the world a better place, get Trump back into power. The Democrats and Republicans have shown they can't do the job. They are good at robbing us and getting people killed in non stop wars.

Might explain a few things.

'Lukashouldgo' has a fine reputation for 'cleaning up' Belarus of dissenting folk ..

Those that actually GO to these places will note that Minsk has tried to become a 'mecca' for ....Casinos ...

I have never claimed to be a Blue Beret

Spurious claims about 'seeing action' with the Blue Berets are debunked >here<
