on a lighter note....
Anyone watching the first F1 race of the season from Melbourne?

So disappointed young Danny Ric didn't make it into Quali1 yesterday, but the lad is a racer and there should be some good passes :-)

Should be a good race between Merc and Ferrari and at least one Red Bull

Didn't watch it, but the news is clear enough:

Max in his red-bull beat the ferrari's and Mercedes won 1st and 2nd place.

Renault keeps being renault of shoddy quality so Ricciardo had to leave the race.

I watched  from Kutaisi airport in  Georgia.

Really pleased for Bottas, who is under pressure to perform

Renault did well with Hulkenburg but Hass start of as best of the rest in their B spec Ferrari

A great race for 10th was hardly shown as the returning Russian, Kyviat held off the Red Bull A spec car

Honda led a race for the first time in 11 years and Ferrari?... Leclerc was faster than Better..the car..expected to be THE most competitive car...was a huge disappointment.

Cars can follow closer with the new aero rules..but a faster car STILL cannot easily pass  a faster car on 'street' like circuits

A three way right for the title or will Red Bull surplant Ferrari as no.2?

One school of thought...It could be the route Ferrari have taken will mean the car cannot evolve and be made faster....

I have never claimed to be a Blue Beret

Spurious claims about 'seeing action' with the Blue Berets are debunked >here<
