No doubt this will get moved to my 'russophobia' thread, but I note Nalvalny has been taken off the streets ( 30 days )  for an 'offence' in January - only arrested now - because 'he could not be found' .....  :chuckle:

Why? because he called for nationwide protests re the rise in pensionable age on Sept 9th  ..

Once again, an attempt to form and register  a new political party was thwarted

...and now Google are being threatened with 'interfering in Russian warned against election 'meddling' ...

Breaking a promise to NEVER raise pensionable age seems to be having a blow back and those suggesting Navalny has been 'forgotten' and 'unimportant' may be mistaken

I have never claimed to be a Blue Beret

Spurious claims about 'seeing action' with the Blue Berets are debunked >here<

They usually call that "gained experience" "bad idea" "must reverse".

Except in your world.

'My world' sees that this is a 'read my lips, no new taxes" moment ...

Nice deflection, though ..  The 'not being able to find Navalny' - that IS 'funny '...

Let's be honest, here .. the need to take him off the streets 8.5 months later ( finding him ) as the protests were planned is no coincidence.

I've lived through govts trying to ban a opposition politician from airing his viewpoint.... it actually ends up making 'em more of an iconic figure-head

Some people, organizations, businesses, learn over time as they evolve and adapt to their changing environment.

Some do not. Some people never change, do they moby? I suppose we should be impressed by the consistency of your attitudes toward the place where you work and overstay?

As ever, instead of dealing with Russia, Navalny and pension protests - andrewfi wishes to discuss his vision of our life-styles ;))
