Chinese Billionaire Arrested in USA
« on: September 03, 2018, 09:41:51 PM »
This past weekend Chinese billionaire Richard Liu was arrested in Minneapolis, US over some sort of sexual misconduct.  While the specifics aren't listed, several articles do say that Minnesota law considers unconcensual touching illegal and that they are still investigating.  Several articles mention alleged misconduct, so does this mean they are missing hard evidence?  Mr. Liu was released and is back in China, however the Minneapolis police claim they are sure they will meet him again.  Any thoughts?  Do you think the US has gone overboard in defining sexual misconduct?  How does the US compare to the rest of the world?

IF he was 'touching' without consent - of course - there's a case to answer...

He was released on bail - as evidence has to be gathered - he can't be kept in custody .

No- any country has to take complaints of abuse seriously - but he is innocent unless proven otherwise

This seems to be related to the activity of a guest at a party Richard hosted a few months ago.

It seems to be a pile of bollocky bits otherwise he'd not have been let go as he was. There's no case, there will be no charges.
