No more more phones for me..
Steveboy:
I finally came to the conclusion I no longer need a phone in my life, I seldom go out with a phone any more in any case.
Peoples lives have become so sad that the phone is all they have in life. Often I just sit and watch the simpletons in life walking around like sheep. The other day I was outside the supermarket for about 30 mins and when you actually just watch people you really do see what sad boring lives so many have, so much so they they would probably commit suicide with a phone..
Nine out of 10 people who walked out of the entrance did so with the phone in they hand.. its absolutely crazy. I would suggest to anyone to do some people watching for a few hours. People really are addicted to all this shit..
Im tired of my bloody phone giving me notifications, what mail I have, what the bloody weather is, who looked at this, who looked at that, who liked this who liked that. I removed Facebook from my phone a while back, but now the time has come to finally dump the phone! You know its actually really great to go out in the evening without some piece of shit buzzing away in your pocket all night.. who needs it?
If you cannot manage to go out for a few hours without a phone in your pocket , you must live a very sad life.. I would really recommend this to anyone. It makes sense.
1. Spend just 45 mins sat outside a busy shopping mall and just watch the people.. see the addiction, they are so stupid they do not even realise it!!
2. Just go out for one afternoon in your life WITHOUT your phone. See how peaceful it really is.
So no more phone for me. My wife carries a small pad I have whats app on that and that is it..
;D
I think next year I will probably trash my Facebook account also..

What is Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, MySpace, etc.? My cell phone cannot access internet or email. I haven't received an authentic phone call on it for almost a year.
People need to be occupied, so this device serves that purpose. Otherwise, they would die from boredom. This device gives their life meaning, so it becomes part of their existence.
My first exposure to computers is with the large mainframes with card readers and card punchers. The experience of hearing anger and frustration (massive cursing) from the Computer Science classes is enough to stop me from falling in love with the device. :GRRRR: :o (:)
But if it can bring you a billion dollars, why would you complain?

Binned mine at the point they kept sending the daily GDPR reminders, Twitter went last year, it’s all just chewing gum for the brain, only sites I visit regularly now are this place and LinkedIn.
Regards peoples phone usage habits - Visits to the city centre nowadays regularly involve trying to avoid bumping into people glued to their phones paying zero attention to their surroundings and general direction, it’s a freaking menace!
Groups sat in pubs/restaurants tend to just sit tapping away at their phones, rather than paying attention to those they actually started the evening with, likewise couples doing the same.
As somebody who spends many hours a day on the road I can say that car drivers are not much better, at least 1 in 4 drivers appear to be doing something with their phone whilst at the wheel, if you only include just under 30’s it’s probably 2 in 4. When you consider they are probably just looking at cats getting scared by gherkins or seeing what somebody they probably don’t give a crap about had for dinner last night it’s pretty bloody shocking.

I wonder how many people could actually go out for a whole day without a phone??
Very few I think..

Ive only got this phone for keeping in touch with the talent... If and when I find the right one ill bin it.
