Of course I'll be there .... just hoping my nation - that has guaranteed 2nd place in the qualifying group ... (we could win if we beat ze Germans in Belfast and they lost their other game ........ OK ..stop dreaming ... )

FIFA rated England only a few places higher in the world rankings than wee N. Ireland ;)

It's true !

All 'booked' or daft prices .... in Sochi

Expect to see prices fall, when those who thought they'd block book realise they've been a little TOO greedy

The Russians are scared that adverse publicity ( esp in the UK press)  re violence will keep the fans away - lest some IDIOT thinks this is me being a russophobe - it came from the mouth of an assistant to the Mayor, in Sochi - who have Germany, Peru, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and Australia playing here in the opening rounds..

Have to wonder if a beautiful referee would be a slight  distraction for the  players? She  definitely  is beautiful.

I bet the mainstream are absolutely gutted. The World Cup shambles and all the violence hasn't happened, in fact Russia looks quite appealing from what I've seen.  tiphat

I just feel sorry for plebs like Labours Stephen Kinnock, who thinks we should protest against it because it's a massive propaganda coup.....

100% correct... I have a friend in UK who is  flying over on 8th he was worried about all the shit in the press.. but today said F*** it I'm on my way.. its clearly the place to be!

Meanwhile in Sweden 3 Swedish fans were shot dead whilst celebrating , some muppet just drove past and shot them..

What a joke!
