Any good luck with a K1 visa assistance agency?
« on: January 10, 2017, 03:40:05 AM »
Has anyone here used an agency or attorney that you would recommend for assistance with a K1 visa? I don't mind spending a few hundred dollars if it will speed up the process. But from what I've read so far it seems that it might actually slow things down in many cases.
two 90 day fiance visas, one 73 day fiance. Lived in Lvov and Odessa for 2 years. California native now on the Oregon Coast

Not if you use the right lawyer.

If you get a minute check out Bruce's TR - Its not quite finished, however its still a pretty good read IMHO.

If I win the lottery I'll finish it this week if not I'll probably complete it when I retire!!! Until then I hope you enjoy the story so far!

Or One Trip Wonder.

I would suggest that our hero ask his new fiancee - she probably has all the required information close to hand.

Thank you for the suggestions. I am in California.

We started filling out the paperwork ourselves and it doesn't look too bad.

Is anyone aware of the typical processing times lately? I've heard 2-9 months.

I've heard a total of seven months as long as there are no mistakes in the paperwork and your fiance must present evidence of the relationship when she goes for the interview.  Such as e mails, letters, photos together, airplane ticket stubs, etc.

Do it yourself. It really isn't that difficult. Good luck...
