Not a single one of my hundreds of Ukrainian friends and family (from all over the center/centre, north, south and east) could give a toss how you spell Kiev/Kiev.
We don't need spelling nazis here do we?? I don't care that North Americans can't spell english words either   

As an American I spell it Kiev because most in the West recognize it that way. I’m not trying to take sides between Russia and Ukraine. However if it irritates Noby to write Kiev then I must be doing it right.

Apparently , a EU-Army is now being erected, Netherlands already signed off on it (by means of prime minister Mark Rutte) when the population has made it quite clear multiple times we do not want this.
