Marine Le Pen has given her backing to Vladimir Putin’s claims overCrimea, insisting the widely condemned 2014 annexation was not “illegal”.

How it was done was not imo "legal" however who owns something is he who possesses it.  "Possession is 9/10ths of the law"  IIRC something like that.  :chuckle:

Hmm,

Perhaps our messenger 'missed' this ?

''France's far-Right Front National accused of taking millions of pounds in loans from Russian bank as "reward" for backing Vladimir Putin on Crimea ''

If true - it might negate any 'supports' validity ..

Going back to George Bush Jr's war on terrorism and his subsequent invasion of Iraq: how many millions of US dollars were given to Romania to help launch the invasion?  How many millions are spread around to buy "democracy"?

Your post is absurd as usual. If Le Pen accepted financial assistance in order to strengthen the National sovereignty of France most will not fault her for that.

Depends where the money is targeted and how spend - listening to some on here - one would think the money given over nigh on 20 years to Ukraine was spent on arms ...

Your post is absurd as usual.

Hardly, where I am such deals would be deemed naughty and illegal ... Political parties receiving donations / loans from overseas govts is wrong - no matter where you are and from whom...

If Le Pen accepted financial assistance in order to strengthen the National sovereignty of France most will not fault her for that.

Le Pen being elected is hardly going to 'strengthen' France - quite the opposite... Hopefully, the folly of such an investment will become apparent - should she get through to round 2 - the socialists will side with the centre right to put her out of the race - like her Papa

You left out my option to select:

Does the French Caliphate care who gets elected?

Nice duck Confederate.

But the question/point posed by Moby is valid.

There are some who complain about H. Clinton accepting funds in one form or the other from Saudi Arabia or say G. Soros; what is different if the funds come from say Russia or the Pope?

Some is not all and, as we know, some are clearly in favour of accepting foreign donations. No 'duck' is present to be shot.

While I was not planning on any shooting, it might reduce the misery.

Russia is a Christian country which respects women and does not throw gays off of buildings.  In regards to the Pope and his newfound friendship with Islam I am beginning to wonder.

Soros is a Cultural Marxist and their stated aim is the total  destruction of Western civilization and the values we hold dearest.

Av I suggest you get out of Junior High School in regards to your knowledge of history in the past and current political affairs.  Russia warts and all has taken a stand against Soros and they've taken a stand for Christianity, for traditional families and for the sovereignty of a nation against Globalist forces.
