Just watched the videos and its shocking. I can't believe the US gets away with it's transparent global terrorism. The people of the US need to see the woods from the trees and vote this bunch of war mongering idiots out of power before we're all in the shit.

Voting won't do it. There's no 'votable' option for the president of the US. All options support the current military industrial complex.

Unless there is a groundswell of opinion such that a new party grows up around these issues then there's no party or person to vote for.

Given the huge number of people in the US who are dependent, or reliant, upon the activities of the US around the world there's never going to be a large enough group of people to find common cause and implement change.

There's a reason why US military manufacturing is pork bellied out to pretty much all the states of the Union.

There's 21.7 million living veterans right now, each and every one sucks at the titty of the US government and the military. All their family members do likewise. CLICK HERE!

There's 2.5 million people on active service or in reserve. Each and every one of them and their families all suck the titty of the US government. And that's not to mention the universities and colleges who depend upon subsidized military students to fill their classes and pay the salaries, the medical staff and businesses whose jobs and profits are dependent upon money from military sources. CLICK HERE!

If we figure that there's three directly dependent people for every active, reserve or veteran person then we have a total of 100,000,000 people all sucking upon the saggy dugs of the US military and government. That's one third of the population. Does anyone expect that these people, one in every three USAians is going to vote to give up the system that supports them and their families in one way or another?

That's just not going to happen!

And then think of the numbers whose livelihoods depend upon the employment from the Military Industrial Complex - the folks who run the bases, work in the Pentagon, work for and in the global intelligence organisations, design, make and sell the weapons and equipment used by US adventures.

There's no doubt but that the US is a military based society. That is not going to change at the ballot box. It will only change when the economics and external political factors tell the US to STOPPIT.

That's why China, Russia and others play a waiting game. The economics are inevitable.

Good post BTW. You do have to admire the US propaganda machine that misinforms and invents enemies convincingly, to the US population and sadly some other world politicians.

I am sure that most politicians who so loudly proclaim the need for US military support do not truly think that this is the case. I am sure that no sensible politician in Romania or Poland who has stood behind US military occupation really thinks anything other than having done so increases the risk to their country and to the world.

There's all sorts of reasons why people act as they do and, yes, the people who are best placed to press those buttons or pull those levers are all native English speakers and all live across the Atlantic.

What is frustrating about this is most Americans only know what is broadcast on network news. Most will never know the real facts to what actually is taking place throughout the world.
But it's not only Americans that are not willing to open their minds to other points of view. Putin and Russia are in no way perfect, but they are in many ways a better alternative to the United states foreign policy.

Good God. All this love centered on one of the largest pieces of propaganda this year. I would like to see a little critical thinking put to use on this one. I really wonder if anyone actually listened to the two hours also. A very funny article in all respects, 4 Pinocchio's and it really should be in a propaganda section.
