Hello, I was wondering if anyone living in Odessa, Ukraine (or travels there) knows any private English tutors they can recommend? It is for the purpose of teaching English to a local there. Paying for English lessons for your bird is never a good idea. If she's that keen let her pay for her own, more often that not this is a way of extracting money from you.

Because they speak decent Russian? Mine's not great but I can order a coffee or engage in social chit-chat. Just don't ask me to conduct a light orchestra or write a theological thesis....

Not if you are paying the school - it's hardly expensive. I would add - that this is based on the proviso that this would be when you've met and have decided on some sort of mutual exclusivity
