Welcome Czenny! I thought of the same thing. For me it was to learn Russian from the songs of the Russian music group Chaif, ЧАЙФ

Actually I want to learn Russian the Zsa Zsa way:

"The only way to learn a language properly, in fact, is to marry a man of that nationality. You get what they call in Europe a 'sleeping dictionary.' Of course, I have only been married five times, and I speak seven languages. I'm still trying to remember where I picked up the other two."

When we studied English & Swedish in the university, we used to say the same. The best way to learn a language is to begin romantic relations with a native speaker. It does work.  Lol. After covering miles and miles pages of books on Lexis and Grammar.

Thank you Orchid!
There were some sad events in my life, my parents have gone, and I was not OK.
When I am in great sorrow I used to be alone and do not want communicating.

Music helps to recover.

I am so sorry to know that your parents have gone.

That's exactly what I usually do.

By the way, your English is excellent.

I'd like to say a few words, why I do insist that listening songs, translating them, singing and learning vocabulary is one of the best way to master a language.
First of all--motivation. Music is a part of culture and we listen to it with our soul, when the emotional component of perception occurs and prevails. So one is eager to listen the same song on and on. It's good for phonetics and memorization of words.

When I began to study Swedish, it was long ago (he-he) I found some unusual sounds both for native russian speaker and english speaker. I wanted to pronounce these sonds as properly as I can: for ex. the first sound in the word SJÄL.
Songs of Eva Dahlgren helped... :saint:

It's better to prefer listening a singer articulating sounds of his-her native language properly, accurately and meticulously. Like Mireille Mathieu. The position of organs of speech is seen very clearly in the video.

Bravo tu as gagné

Que tu as choisi pour me remplacer
En amour la loi c'est comme à la guerre
Le plus fort des deux reste le dernier
Et notre amour si beau finit
pourtant si mal
On le juge à huis clos dans un tribunal
Bravo tu as gagné et moi j'ai tout perdu
on s'est tellement aimés on ne s'aime plus...

Nous avons joué notre vie ensemble
Et puis un beau jour la chance a tourné
On ne finira pas la partie ensemble
Et chacun s'en va seul de son côté
Bravo tu as gagné Bravo tu as gagné

Il a gagné j'ai tout perdu
on s'est aimé on n'aime plus
Amour si bon pourtant si mal juge à huit clos....

 :)

I like this way of learning the language. When I liked the song. I open its text and translate it myself. If I have any questions , I translate this word. Then I read the text several times and listen to the song

A great song to know if you want to see  FSU W dance..

The singer's Italian, but she's singing in French ( Tu mas promis, Tu es foutu)  ..    You promised me.... You're f*cked screwed

Play it when a room of FSU ladies are seated and there's a dance floor .. you won't regret it ..
