Shopping in the FSU

Most of our significant others are either from the three Slavic countries, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine or from Kazakhstan, the most ethnic Russian of the stans.  All four countries currencies are in free fall.  I imagine most of us find the Russian culture fascinating, as I do.  This would translate into exceptional shopping opportunities while on holiday with our lady. 

Here are some of the items I have brought back with me.

I paid £1.00 for the last one)) But I'm a cheapskate    I only paid 60p from Airport back to my home today  That would be £60 in the UK..

I reckon alot less come home drier than when they went.

Walnuts, vodka, kashka, dried fruit (Armenian) amongst other things.

I always used to bring a bag of sunflower seeds back to remind me of Mother Russia.. I still eat them all day now with the wife while were working
