I'm American, but Here is the English version for Canadians.
You will need to get your paper work done before you travel to Russia.
Your lady should be able to get info from Russian sites.
Don't expect to just fly over and get married.
Unless you plan to stay a couple months.

I here anywhere from right away to 30 days depending on the local zags office. I have the English version but google translator screws it all up when I try to send it to my fiancée.

Read quite a few. That's not to say I have read them all though so if you or anyone else knows a good one I would be happy to check it out.

Perhaps, if you started JUST one (1) thread with all your questions, you might receive more information and opinions.

Are you saying that I have to think about every possible question and scenario before I should post a question? As circumstances change different questions arise.

The Zags and for that matter Rags rules do not change, for citizen of different countries.

It is a fair though cumbersome process to marry a foreign person in the former Soviet Union. Sometimes at the Zags office there are those who can help 'for a fee, smooth' the wheels and make everything happen. Tread very carefully here.

When we had our Rags we followed the system. It was a challenge but my wife persisted and made sure I had all my documents with those she proceeded. This something that your fiancé should be doing if she desires a Russian wedding.

NB: Manny is quite right, people who ask multiple questions in different threads that can be addressed in one thread are annoying.

He doesn't take advice, and ignores mine so I have given up offering anything more.

Not sure what I have done wrong. My first source for advice has been this board. Obviously it is my first experience and the situation remains fluid. How is one to anticipate every question as you work your way through this maze?
Not sure donhillo which advice of yours I did or did not follow. Since not a lot has changed since I joined this board not sure why you would think I have not followed your advice.
I welcome any constructive advice. If you find it tiresome to answer my questions you are free to ignore me.

If it's your first time, of course you will have many questions.
Having one thread with all your questions makes it easier for those that can help.
Having information of your situation lets readers better understand your situation.

I'm not sure why you need a Russian version?
You will be responsible for getting your papers and documents in order.

This you can read in English and take care of yourself.
Translation of documents can be done in Russia.
For her the process is not much different than if she was marrying a fellow Russian.
Best advice I could give you is following the guide lines , and don't try to make shortcuts in the process.
You won't be doing yourself any favors.

The Russian version was for my fiancé so she understands clearly what I need to do. Why I need to go to either Moscow or Vladivostok etc.

Here's a yandex search results, maybe you can find what you want there, you can always refine the search for your specific needs.
Edit,
Your lady should be able to use the Russian version of yandex to find same information.

Thank you Tom cat.

Getting married in Russia is no big deal actually its pretty easy, I did it with no problems and my neighbour from the US only recently did the same.

Best to just get your lady to go down to the local office and ask them, If your getting married in Moscow I think there is only one office for foreigners. But its all very very easy, your lady can find out all the details for you with no big problems and tell you what documents you need and any translations you require. The local Zags office thats what they are there for just ask :) It will be easier if you can plan to stay in Russia for a month before your wedding also, saves coming back.

Using forums and the net can just confuse things with so many stories , its easy to become confused :)
