Vladivostok – Once More a Free Port
« on: July 15, 2015, 04:47:39 PM »
Quote
After a lot of talking and legislating, Vladivostok and most of the populated areas of Primorskiy Krai will now be granted ‘free port’ status for 70 years, promising tax benefits, a reduction in bureaucracy and paperwork, and visa free possibilities for tourists, among other things. The changes won’t happen immediately – it’ll likely come into force from 2016 – but local politicians and ministers are excited about the possibilities, with talk of a threefold increase in regional GDP and an end to the continued – albeit now at a relative trickle – of outward emigration if all goes to plan. In this article I’ll take a closer look at the announcement, and discuss whether this is the huge boost for the region that it is portrayed to be.

Can you imagine the size of the required toad!

Fear the enemy able to create such fearsome beasts.

Imagine a cavalry of fully armoured War Toads with Cossack riders.

...everything ends always well; if it’s still bad, then it’s not the end!

IS ''Russia using North Korean 'slave labour''  ?

Not that the UK hasn't had cases of enslaved labour - but 'state sponsored' ? - I refer to N.Korea... Is Russia happy to put them to work and look the other way ? - quoting HR organisations

Curious if Russia is in the TPP - either way will see a flood of Pac Rim businessmen into the City for both goods and labor imports and natural resources exports opps.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Pacific_Partnership

Looks like China and Russia both out of TPP however since Obama has done everything possible to turn the USA and especially his own peoples core urban areas into poor third world nation status overall TPP is likely to be a neutral or slightly accretive agreement for the US GDP.  And may be a positive for constraining the Multi national GMO frankenfood industry from terrorizing the rest of the world.

Will rattle the NAFTA pampered partners cages as well so some positive results to be had.

LOL Valdivostok will not be jerked around by Beijing the way Macau was - Sheldon Adelson and Steve Wynn had major investments there and now regret it as their profits have dwindled under the guise of Bejing crack down on financial "corruption"  - Vlad will easily draw all of that macau biz and then some including offshore bank accounts for gambling winnings and if Moscow plays its cards right Vald can become the new combined HK and Dubai free trade zones without the Communist Red Army or ISIS shadows hanging over the place... just the opposite really.
