Time flies like sputnik! It was only 13 years ago that our founding members posed for this daguerreotype, but it seems like yesterday. Nothing has changed. Back then the token enemy of the people was Bush; today the token enemy of the people is Trump. The struggle is the same, and so are we. This picture has aged well.

Perhaps, in the manner of naming floors in a building, we should have written that The People's Cube is 12-A years old. Or skip all the way to the year 14. But true progressives do not believe in foreign bourgeois prejudices. We hereby proudly rename our Tractor Barn No.3 into The Tractor Barn of the Glorious 13th Anniversary of the People's Cube.

The struggle for equality of results has claimed some of our comrades over the years. But our ranks have only grown with new comrades. For our old and new members, we offer a retrospect of our old photos, for some comrades to learn from them, for some others to bring back good memories.*

Starbucks announces anyone can just sit in its cafés

Starbucks has announced a new policy where anyone can now sit in their stores and use the restrooms without having to make a purchase.

However, customers are not allowed to sleep or take narcotics in Starbucks cafés.

An updated Starbucks procedure manual for employees offered detailed instructions on what to do if someone is behaving in a disruptive manner. Such disruptive behaviors include smoking, drug or alcohol use, improper use of restrooms and sleeping.

The new policy comes five weeks after two black men who hadn’t bought anything were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks.


Company executives have said its previous policies were loose and ambiguous, leaving decisions on whether people could sit in its stores or use the restroom up to store managers.

Starbucks said it has told workers to consider anyone who walks into its stores a customer, “regardless of whether they make a purchase.”

The company said anyone can use its cafes, patios or restrooms without buying anything, but it noted workers should still call the police if someone is a safety threat.

"We are committed to creating a culture of warmth and belonging where everyone is welcome,” Starbucks said in a statement.


During a hot summer the homeless might look to cool off in a nice air-conditioned environment where they can hang out all day; but just wait until wintertime when the temperatures plunge in such places as Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York and hundreds of homeless seek refuge from the elements.

Will Starbucks provide computers so that their non-paying "customers" can enjoy looking at porn without having to go to a library?

I dont care what kind of degree he has or doesn't have.  The market is up.  North Korea and Iran appear to be coming around.  We are making some effort to control illegals again.  And to me most importantly, the President of the United States once again cares about Christian values, the rights of gun owners and the lives of average American citizens. 

Let him screw up all the letters he wants.  When that teacher can raise the stock market and handle foreign affairs like Trump, I will give a damn about her opinions.
