St. Augustine.
« on: December 23, 2007, 07:33:14 PM »
Robert and I visited St. Augustine one year ago after mediation in Jacksonville (OMG the time goes by so fast; it seems that it was just one month ago).

We spent only one night and one day in St. Augustine (not so mush time) but the town created an ineffaceable impression on me. Robert and I of course will go to St. Augustine again to dip into centuries history  :)

There was a small shop where you can find some antique things even the dresses and shoes of end 19th and beginning of 20th centuries  :) and many other interesting doodads  :)

Undoubtedly the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is the most famous historical place to visit.

Nice pictures Olga, it brings back memories, I was there in 1995, I wonder if it has changed much, the old places certainly haven't :)

Wonders never cease, Olga.  You are often our eyes and ears in hugely interesting places where many of us will probably never go ourselves.  Thank you!!

Thank you, guys!

ForgeMaster,

Sometimes we just should wait for right time, right wind and right weather to set our sails  :)

ForgeMaster,

My wife and I have always gone from my home to Barnaul by traveling over Europe and it is 11 time zones from here.  My dream is to go there and come back by traveling the rest of the way around the circle!  I would love to see china, New Zealand and that other southern ISLAND!  I like the idea of that wind in the sails.....
