Applying for K-1 Visa from within the US
« on: May 02, 2014, 08:02:37 AM »
Is it possible to apply for the K-1 visa while she is here with me in the US on a tourist visa?  I know she will have to go back to Moscow for the medical exam and interview but this way we can enjoy being together while we wait.  Let me know what you think.  Thanks.

It's been done. It would improve the strength of your petition if you met her after she applied for her tourist visa, though.

She had a tourist visa in hand before we ever met.
