You don’t say... No, I’ve never heard that explanation before but I have wondered where they came up with the name. Mystery solved.

I guess I have heard reference to monkeys in a room with a typewriter before but didn’t know of the connection; I’ll have to read up on that.

On the other hand, I have heard the term ‘tubthumping’ before (usually in reference to someone shouting unwanted opinions and rhetoric).

And, the opening phrase, I think only on the (slightly) extended version, features a chant 'Only singing, when your winning' which was a common song sung on the English Football (soccer) terraces at a team's supporters regarded as fickle 'You only sing when you're winning...'..

During a dinner a couple days ago here in Connecticut with a wide mix of people. Some also had not heard of A. Bourdain, from there we discussed pop musicians. I was the exception that heard of R. Williams and Take That, of course unless you are deaf this would be impossible in Europe.

I picked a song duet with Nicole Kidman that was made popular by Sinatra & Sinatra. He has other epic songs.
