Last resting place of Russian Royals?
« on: January 19, 2014, 02:09:24 PM »
I took this picture whilst last in Russia, Yekaterinburg.

I believe it's the resting place and spot where the last royal family of Russia was executed. I would of stopped to take a look but it was a tad cold, so a drive by photo is the best I could do.

The woodland on route to Yekaterinburg is quite amazing, from Tyumen there's 320 km of woodland, being English it's quite hard to comprehendila_rendered

I beleive what Pyotr is trying to say and what Ashby failed to explain that while the Royal family was executed (murdered) in Yekaterinburg ~ Екатеринбург ~ Ekaterinburg. They were buried on the outskirts of the city as I remember. After DNA tests confirmed the identities they were first moved into the city and than latter buried in Petersburg with there ancestors.

I am doing this from memory and I might have the facts wrong.
