I remember that commercial.  Needless to say, I had no desire to pursue RW but I did want a Wendy's hamburger  ;D

Those Wendy's ads from the 1980s crack me up too.  I also loved their ads that had the old lady examining a burger from one of their competitors and asking, "Where's the beef?".
