There is a little pub / restaurant right below my apartment called the Pintagon.
I have occasionally stopped by for some borscht (very good) or other fortification.

There are two elevators going up to my apartment. This is the best one
since the other has no lights. I haven't managed to be brave / stupid
enough to get into the dark one yet.



There doesn't seem to be much that the plywood is attached to. I
wouldn't recommend learning against it (it moves if you put your hand
on it.

At the busiest streets they have an underground for crossing.
This is where the pan handlers hang out. I got rid of all my
excess airline peanuts (and a few rubles) this way



They have little shops in the underground part. You can buy flowers and various things there

I didn't eat there, I will have to give it a try. We were just warming up from walking around

There seemed to be a lot of construction and refurbishing going on.



The remodeling includes the flat above my head. So I get to listen to drills and construction noises
starting at 8:00am which usually isn't a problem for me, since I am usually awake by then. 

I saw several construction workers laying out their work, I debated taking a photo but they didn't
seem like the friendliest blokes so I moved on. It's not like I need to collect photos of construction
in progress.
