Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, ideals, thoughts, feelings, qualities, or standards that one does not actually have. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie.

Я изучал русский язык на год-полтора. Но это было двадцать лет назад. НО я использую Google переводчик с августа!  (that is like saying I am not a doctor, but I slept in a Holiday Inn last night.)

Я рад, что вы смеетесь, а я даже не придется носить купальник.   :'(

Kindness does not need a rejoinder but it does need appreciation.  What a wonderful world this would be if all men (and women) would follow your example my lady.  You bring beauty and wisdom to any community you join - not even this one - ESPECIALLY THIS ONE!

To all the ladies that have shown me encouragement, I thank you.  It is nice feather in my cap to have both quality and quantity more ladies post on my thread than all the others.  May God Give You the desires of Your Hearts SOON!

To me but I would not dare speak more than three words of Russian.

You seem to a grinning peasant from Siberia with a bad tooth ache.

Mendy will offer his more polite opinion and that should count for more.

Thank you!

I see the video is attracting comments already.

I am surprised more Russian speakers didnt give you marks for effort.

LT, what counts is that you made the effort. Brave, very brave.

It reminded me of someone who having taken dancing lessons is out on the floor and taking every opportunity to use the knowledge gained, even when the steps are not yet a part of muscle memory.

Good job.

Now go study some more and don't stop the videos. Once you get thru the first barrier more people will be attracted to help you. You live in Tucson and the U of A has an outstanding Russian program. http://russian.arizona.edu/  Call or go over and ask for a student tutor. It will be cheaper than you realize and you'll advance so much more quickly. Attend some of the weekly sessions where students meet for coffee and practice speaking or enjoy one of their movie/event nights and you'll get "networked" as they say and the more people you know the faster you advance.

I can speak other languages.  Spanish is the one I feel the strongest.  But to my anti-fans, I have videos proving my ability:

sorry no subtitles for these.   :(

It took me about 20 minutes to do a Spanish one.  About twice that time to make a French one.   I finished my Russian one late last night but IT TOOK ME HOURS TO DO A RUSSIAN ONE!!!  They just have long words that have constants in them that defy the imagination.  They will put an 'f'sk" and a "ptb" and it will sound like "fsok" or "potFFF."  So it is done I just need to add the intro and the subtitles.

And this one is for Millaa:

It is a little old and for you guys out there, it will probably make your eyes bleed.

Btw, is this you?

 tiphat

of course, if it was me.  Admitting would be an act of bravery and revelation.  And it it was not me, then I have no way of proving otherwise.

so I don't know how to answer it.

I have done a lot of jacked up stuff in my life that I regret - some of it is on the forum.  And I am not plaster saint, but I am not into BDSM.  It's kinda weird if you ask me.  I have a past but I am trying with my whole heart and my whole mind to put that behind me.  And given that, that post is from August of this year?

Not me   :fighting0025:

But hey, it's a free country (unless someone wins re-election).
