ok, I got ill ,so my promiss about more photos failed, promiss I will do it later

It was a city day on 11th of september,   the waether was not good and I was ill, but as I have promissed I went in the city and made photos, one problem with rua is to load it, sorry people
Honestly I was trying hard, but ............ admins should do something wih it

This is only a small part, we have many more places to see, the only problem don;t have too many old buildings, Napoleon was going to moscow throught Belarus, Germans was going to Moscow through Belarus, so if you will count the way there and back then you will realise that unhappy trips was finished by burning everything on the way back home, lol

I see you are as 'clued up' on things Belarus as you are on most things FSU..  

The EU aren't in the habit of allowing states with despotic leaders of 'democracies' to join..

It is more likely that Mr Putin has plans to 'assimilate' Belarus ...

Don't worry, Gentlemen, the EU seems at present to be doing a good job of imploding on its own.

I had an interesting discussion with some of the Dutch airline employees during my trip back home. They are deeply resentful of the EU in many respects, and extremely upset about the Euro replacing the Guilder. In fact, several of them claimed that although the official conversion rate was two to one, it seems that once the Euro was introduced everything very soon was about the same numerically--meaning that prices had doubled for most goods and services in a very short period of time. Now, with the erosion of the Euro, the price increases continue--as the more industrious societies seem to be paying for the profligate ways of those not so productive.

Of course, from an outsider's perspective, one has to wonder what benefit is incurred from a massive EU bureaucracy spending huge amounts of money for what seems to be little benefit to the typical citizens.

I understand most Brits are extremely happy they did not accept the Euro to replace the Pound, even though they are having their own fiscal difficulties.

Of course, now the U.S. has been following the European model of heavier taxation and spending--soon there will be few refuges from potential financial collapse.
