Do you think Putin knows that First Deputy Chairman Sergei Shvetsov is
taking part in Western propaganda?

Sergei Shvetsov appointed First Deputy Chairman of Russia's Central Bank

Earlier, mass media reported that Dmitry Pankin, who is currently head of the Federal Service for Financial Markets, would not transfer to the Central Bank

MOSCOW, August 21 (Itar-Tass) - Sergei Shvetsov has been appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia (CB) and Head of the CB Service for Financial Markets, the Central Bank Department for External and Public Relations reported on Wednesday.

Earlier, mass media reported that Dmitry Pankin, who is currently head of the Federal Service for Financial Markets, would not transfer to the Central Bank.
On August 9, the Central Bank Board of Directors decided to found a service for financial markets within the Central Bank. The new structure will start working from September 1 when the Federal Service for Financial Markets is abolished. Thus, the Central Bank will have powers and functions to regulate, control and supervise financial markets.

Found this site

http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=Russia&city1=Sochi&country2=United+Kingdom&city2=Bristol&displayCurrency=RUB

We are comparing the cost of living in various places - our example is Sochi and Bristol, UK - But you can try your city

The data for Sochi is from Feb, so I will update as some prices are too low - food and some too high, petrol / gas.

It makes interesting reading.

We bought a juice press in Turkey for 35USD and brought it home..Will soon make a trip to the border with 'Abkhazia' / Georgia where one can buy 1kg of Oranges for 25 rub.. 50 cents US / 28p in GBP

S.C has me on a diet of drinking egg yolks, freshly made juice, fresh veg and farm fresh non-pasteurised milk and goats cheese....to lose the kg

Oy vey, who drinks egg yolks (and  non-pasteurized milk/ eats goats cheese) in the summer  :duh: Spark is right, good that you are going home soon, as it sounds like a manual on "how to get salmonella in an eye bat".
Could you stick to the fruits and veggies while you are there?
(We consume farmers' products too, but in the summer it's generally not a good idea.)

No, of course she isn't, and theoretically that diet is great, but sadly in reality there were too many cases of poisoning (and i bothered to write this, not because i want you to feel bad, but because my own mother survived by the skin of her teeth the last "experience" of a kind and i had two friends, much younger and way healthier than her, in hospital for several days  :duh:) The rule of thumb is raw eggs - NEVER, under any circumstances; fresh milk and cheese - yes, but with great caution, and not in the summer.

P.S. do ask if she has proven recipe for watermelon gazpacho, i've never made it before and not sure which one to go for  ???

Moby's gal is a vegetarian I understand. That reminds of a line from 'Pulp Fiction,' "My girlfriend is a vegetarian so that pretty much makes me a vegetarian too." "Cheating" in  such a marriage would be sneaking off to eat a hamburger and then popping a breath mint into your mouth to mask the smell.

Perdure!  :saint:

on the other side, if you fetch salmonella, you're bound to lose at least 10% of your body mass, so who knows, that might be the evil plan behind the diet  :evilgrin0002:

Hahahaah, TRUE!!!
Myself i am going back and forth between vegetarianism/ veganism and jewish dietary laws (as in should eat red meet on Fridays evening, should have fish on Saturdays etc.), so at this point i stfu  ;D
